What to Expect

In a breathwork session, you will be comfortably lying down, and facilitated in a 3-part circular breathing pattern. A journey is typically an hour long, and will be accompanied by music. A guided meditation will be provided at the beginning to relax and settle into the body. You may wish to work with an intention for your journey and will be offered verbal, physical (optional), and energetic support to enhance and deepen your experience. Ocea is committed to providing a trauma-informed practice and you will be safely supported throughout.

Who is it for?

Breathwork is for those seeking a transformational experience. You may be seeking something other than using the intellect as a way of feeling/processing your emotions and releasing blocks and stagnant energy.  You may be curious about states of expanded awareness and connection to source energy, or a deeper connection to self. You may be working through grief, anxiety, low mood, or looking for a way to further connect to your personal or spiritual growth and healing. 

*Conscious connected breathwork is an active style of breathing, and while it is beneficial for most, it is not recommended for those who are pregnant, have cardiovascular or respiratory issues, high blood pressure, epilepsy/seizures, or some mental health diagnoses. Please contact us to discover if breathwork is suitable for you. 

The breath is a bridge between mind, body and spirit. The breathwork style we guide is called conscious connected breathwork, and it is a continuous and deep breathing practice.  It offers a profound experience that provides opportunity for self-discovery, healing, and connection. The possibilities of a breathwork journey are as vast as our worlds are- within and out. 

 

As an embodied, somatic experience, we have the potential to open to, and release, deeply held tensions and emotions, and find space from the stories and rumination of the mind. As a consciousness expanding practice, we can connect to our authentic selves - our energetic essence - and what is beyond form. We find that we can awaken our inner guidance and align with our truth and highest self.
